Who We Are
Spicee Bite’s story began with hard work in the back of an Indian restaurant in California. Malkiat Bains developed a lifelong passion for the art of food while observing the cooks as he washed dishes. At 20, Mr. Bains came from the state of Punjab all the way to San Francisco, a pillar of California; it was then that his passion for cooking ignited. He worked many odd jobs as he honed his craft, until eventually starting Spicee Bite as a lone food truck in the Yard.
A Family Food Tradition
Spicee Bite is a family business, its heart consisting of a father, a son, and an uncle. The family cares deeply for their staff, and we’ve ensured that we have a team we can stand by, who come to work with smiles and laughter, who put their passion and personality into every meal, and who learn about the practices and traditions that shaped the food we have today. At Spicee Bite, caring deeply for our team means they will always be putting their best foot forward to serve you our dishes.

We’re a flavor-first restaurant, with Mr. Bains being meticulous enough that he needs a specific brand of seasoning to feel satisfied with the product he’s serving. Only high quality spices, with fresh ingredients coming in and out of our kitchen daily. We pride ourselves in warmly serving you food we can consistently call our best, our recipes carefully crafted for quality and consistency.
